About the Speaker:
Dr. Brad Miller, MD
Vice President of Clinical Solutions for Caradigm 

In his role, Dr. Miller engages with health systems, clinically integrated networks, accountable care organizations and other provider systems to help understand and address their rapidly evolving clinical, financial and operational needs.  In his 10 years prior to Caradigm, Dr. Miller ran his own successful healthcare consulting practice, engaging providers, payers, vendors and government organizations to meet the challenges of HIE, large data and clinical transformation.  Select clients included Microsoft, Booz Allen Hamilton, ONC, Kaiser Permanente, Christiana Care, Harris Health System and Blue Shield of California.  

Dr. Miller earned his MD and MBA from Cornell University and was a research fellow at the University of California, San Francisco.  His undergraduate degree is in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology from Emory University.

Ruben Amarasingham, MD, MBA, is the Founder and President of PCCI, a scientific research institute based in Dallas, Texas affiliated with Parkland Health and Hospital System. Dr. Amarasingham is also President and CEO of Pieces Technologies, Inc., a software development firm that provides end-to-end monitoring, prediction, documentation & discovery software for health systems and community based organizations. Prior to his role at Pieces Technologies, Dr. Amarasingham was associate professor in the departments of General Internal Medicine and Clinical Sciences at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where he also served as the Director of the Biomedical Informatics Program for the NIH Clinical and Translational Science Award.

Dr. Amarasingham received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brown University and his MD from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He received postdoctoral training in biomedical informatics and health services research as a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. He also completed his MBA at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
